Krut was a smålandsstövare born 2001 and died 2016

Nalle came to the family in 2006 after years of  Yrla's nagging and begging about getting a dog. After some research after a fitting breed, it was decided that we would get a rescue dog. She found “Hundar utan hem” (Dogs without a home) who specializes in bringing dogs from Ireland to Sweden to be replaced. One sunny summersdag Yrla, Sissel and Kaj went to Sweden to pick up the spotted little terrier-crossbreed, and he came to Kumlinge within a few days. But everything  did not go great in the beginning. After only a week Nalle broke a leg at midsummer and had to wear a cast for the rest of the summer. He didn't mind it though; he adapted very quickly and was soon walking and running again! The problem was that he was swimming with it too… Now he lives on Åland but Yrla has some plans to bring him to Sweden with her in the future. He is a very energetic and happy dog, but he also loves to cuddle.

Ziva is a dwarf-poodle born 12/2. She is from Forsfararens kennel. She stays in Stockholm most of the time with Emelie where they compete in agility, obedience and rallyobedience. She is rather bossy with the other dogs (and the people) and has quick mind. She is quite cuddly when she wants to and loves to lie in the windows and look out over her kingdom.

Curry is a tabby house cat. She spends most of the summer outdoors but in the winter she prefers to be inside. She is a good mouse-catcher but does not get along with Ziva. Died 2015

Nisse was our first pet and was born in 1992. He got quite old for a cat and died 2011. His wisdom and stability is missed.

We have a few different kinds of hens. The give us eggs so that we never have to want and the have chickens every spring and summer.
