The stable is about 500 metres from out house. In the stable there are four stalls, two small and two big. There are also two small open boxes (where the horses can go out and in to the stable as they like). The horses are usually in the open boxes during the winter, but if the weather is bad they are allowed to come inside. When the insects are too annoying for the horses they can come in to the stable for some relief.  We have big hilly paddocks with both forests and fields. Earlier we made our own hay, but now we mostly use haylage.
